3.The rate of facilitated diffusion of a molecule across a membrane will increase as the concentration difference of the molecule across the membrane increases to a certain point. Eventually, an increase in concentration of molecule will not cause any further increase in facilitated diffusion. This is because
A)facilitated diffusion requires ATP energy.
B)there are a limited number of carrier proteins in the membrane.
C)increased concentration difference causes a situation far from equilibrium.
D)as the concentration difference increases, molecules interfere with one another.
E)the diffusion constant depends on the concentration difference.
4.Why is it possible for living organisms to comply with the second law of thermodynamics?
A)Living organisms are unique in that they do not require energy for survival.
B)Organisms are able to function efficiently on heat energy alone.
C)Living organisms are totally isolated systems which are not subjected to the laws of physics.
D)Chemical reactions inside cells mostly cause an increase of high-level energy.
E)Sunlight functions as an ultimate source of energy for most forms of life on Earth.

Awesome,
This fountain is so beautiful! Thank you amazon for the fast and undamaged item. The assembly is very quick, only took my husband 10 minutes to set up. Initially, I thought it was very loud and sort of annoying, but this fountain gave me and the hubby a peaceful night sleep. Goes lovely with my Egyptian Theme Bedroom. I totally recommend this item. I love it, it’s awesome!!!!
